About Me

I am deeply passionate about creating and helping bring about growth.  I do this in my motherhood, artwork, gardening, and my own personal growth.  It fills me with joy to be a part of someone else’s experience of healing, growth, and re-creation.

The process of growth can feel dark and painful before you begin to see signs of light and life.

As a Life Coach and Advocate, I am there to sometimes guide, sometimes walk alongside, and sometimes instruct as you realize more who you are, why you are, and who you want to be, both individually and in relationships.  I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment, whether in person or virtual.  I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you in your journey of re-creation and growth.

My practice is based on the beliefs that:

  • Life and individuals are fluid and dynamic; that we can choose to resist or engage with each life   event.

  • We all yearn for meaning and connection in our lives.

  • Growth is infinite.

  • All emotions are valuable guides to healing and growth, and should be explored respectfully.

  • Each person is intrinsically good, full of unique potential, with the freedom to choose and be.

  • Each person deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, even in the midst of challenge.

I have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage, Family, Child, Adolescent Therapy and am certified as a life coach.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and have worked for years as a special needs liaison for our local school district.  I have a deep understanding of the federal laws that provide rights and protections for individuals or families that are impacted by a disability.
